Taryn Sells: 2025 MPI Filmmaker Sundance Film Festival Summit

Taryn Sells is a filmmaker who is passionate about telling stories that bring people together. As a graduate of The King’s College NYC with a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, she holds themes of Freedom and the American Dream close to her heart. Taryn has a background working on the Creative Development side of Film/TV at companies like Walt Disney Studios, Pascal Pictures, and Skybound Entertainment. She was selected as the Academy Gold Rising Intern of her MPI Hollywood Career Launch Program Class (2021) where she further explored her interests in Producing, Directing, and Writing. Currently, Taryn runs a business brokerage with her husband where they travel the country (with their Golden Retriever Puppy, Zima) building relationships with the owners of service-based companies.
