Carly Hicks: 2025 MPI Filmmaker Sundance Film Festival Summit

Carly Hicks began her career as an MPI intern at Madison Wells Media in their multiplatform department. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2019, she began work as an NBCUniversal Page in New York, and then transitioned to stints at DreamWorks and CAA. Carly currently works as a coordinator on the Creative Acquisitions and IP Management Team at Universal Studio Group, focused on sourcing and evaluating IP for adaptation. When she's not reading, Carly can be found traveling across the country for a concert or on the hunt for the best matcha in Los Angeles.
