Carlyle I. Holder is a proven strategic and innovative executive leader with a career spanning 37 years in criminal justice. Over his 27 years plus of distinguished service with the United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), he served 23 of those years as supervisor, manager, and executive. Mr. Holder was a Chief Executive Officer (Warden) for 12 years. He attained the rank of Senor Executive Service
An entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Holder has founded several companies and currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Correctional Management & Communications Group, LLC (CMCG), which he founded in 2008 upon his retirement.
CMCG is an 8a certified and SBA certified contractor.
Mr. Holder is the Founder and President of C.I. Holder Ministries, a 501 c 3 non-profit organization which was established to help the formerly incarcerated and returning citizens have a positive support system, as well as a network that can provide opportunities for housing, training, employment and other equally important services to help their re-entry. He is the immediate past president of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ).
Mr. Holder recently released his book “Can Anything Good Come Out of Prison – The Case for Prison Restructuring and Reintegration.
